Avoid driving when you’re tired. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drowsy driving causes more than 83,000 motor vehicle crashes and over 1,000 fatalities a year. Be aware that some medication may cause drowsiness and can make operating a vehicle dangerous.
Sometimes all it takes is that one moment when you take your eyes off the road to look at your phone, the radio, your kids in the back seat, or commotion on the side of the road. There are many causes of car accidents, like distractions or sleep –deprivation. If you have been involved in a car accident at the fault of someone else, you may be entitled to compensation.
