On January 5, Alaska State Troopers, Alaska State Park Ranger, and Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover near Mile 120.5 on the Parks Highway.  An F350 was traveling southbound on the Parks Highway and lost control on icy roads. The truck crossed the roadway and went into the ditch rolling on to its roof.  The driver of the truck did not survive.  One passenger was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center with injuries.  A back seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle and flown to Providence Alaska Medical Center with serious injuries.
