Serious Injuries in Single Vehicle Collision on Hydaburg Highway

On August 6, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a single vehicle collision with injuries. Investigation revealed the driver was northbound on the Hydaburg Highway when he drove off the roadway and went down an embankment. The driver and passenger were medavaced to Ketchikan with serious injuries. Investigations are ongoing and alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
