One Killed in Head on Collision on Glenn Highway
On November 20, Alaska State Troopers responded to a two vehicle head on collision at Mile 37.5 Glenn Highway. The investigation revealed that the driver a southbound Volvo crossed the centerline and collided head on with a northbound GMC Sierra. The driver of the Sierra was pronounced deceased at the scene; a passenger was flown to Providence Alaska Medical Center with serious injuries. The investigation continues; alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the collision.
