Moose Vehicle Accident on Parks Highway

On December 30, Alaska State Troopers responded to a vehicle-moose collision on the Parks Highway near Trapper Creek. A moose entered the highway and was struck by a vehicle. The driver was transported by ground ambulance for injuries; a passenger was transported by Life Flight for their injuries.

Slow down when passing yellow animal crossing signs. Be aware the wildlife are most active at dawn, dusk and night.
