Safety Tips for Avoiding a Vehicle Collision
Don’t follow too closely behind the vehicle in front of you. Leave at least one car length for each 10 mph you are traveling between you and the car in front of you. This gives you as a driver more reaction time and helps prevent collisions. It is important to increase your following distance at higher speeds, at night, and in hazardous conditions, like rain and snow.
