Four Wheeler Fatality, Unalakleet, Alaska

On May 4, Unalakleet AST received a report of a death about three miles north of Unalakleet. Reports indicated that a 24 year old male was a passenger on a 4-wheeler driven by another 24 year old male. They crashed down an embankment at Powers Creek. The passenger was found deceased near the crash site. The driver was not on scene when the AST arrived. The driver was later located and brought to the local clinic to be evaluated. No helmets were worn by either persons.
