Four Wheeler Crash Injures Two in Delta Junction, Alaska

By Ken Ringstad on June 27th, 2015 in Alaska, Local Accident Report

On June 27, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a four-wheeler crash in Delta Junction, Alaska. They were told that two people were on the ATV when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a driveway. The driver and the passenger were both thrown from the ATV causing the passenger to require immediate transportation to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing helmets.

Report taken from the Alaska State Troopers dispatch on June 30.

Safety Tips for Avoiding ATV Crashes

Always wear your helmet. When riding an ATV you are unprotected and it is extremely important to take any safety measure you can. Avoid driving when you are tired. Pay attention. Distractions can be fatal when driving an ATV.

ATVs may be fun, but they are incredibly dangerous. Unfortunately, other motorists often don’t see them, which puts them at a greater risk for accidents. If you or someone you know has been injured on an ATV due to someone else’s negligence, the damages are likely severe. You deserve financial compensation. Call a personal injury attorney today.
