This month, the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra will present an exciting concert conducted by Eduard Zilberkant.
The concert will feature Denis Evstuhin on piano. Concertgoers will enjoy wonderful performances of Berlioz’s “Rakoczy March” from The Damnation of Faust, Rachmoninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, and Stravinsky’s Petrushka. These works are enduring classics, loved by generations of fans.
The Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra’s season will also include concerts in December and February. All concerts take place at the Davis Concert Hall at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, with most beginning at 4 p.m. on Sundays. Check the symphony website for more information about these upcoming concerts.
This month’s concert is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 3 at 4 p.m. Tickets range from ten dollars for students to thirty dollars for adults. Discounted admission is given to members of the military and seniors.
