On August 18, a driver was seriously injured in a multi vehicle collision on the Parks Highway near Big Lake, Alaska. The driver was stopping to make a left turn when he was rear-ended and then pushed into oncoming traffic. The driver was extricated from his vehicle and transported to a hospital. The driver and passenger of the oncoming vehicle were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
