3 Killed in Parks Highway Crash Near Wasilla

On December 1, Alaska State Troopers responded to a two vehicle collision near the intersection of Parks Highway and S. Rainbow Street in Wasilla, Alaska. Investigation revealed a northbound vehicle crossed into the southbound lane striking a GMC Safari which burst into flames. The driver of the northbound vehicle and two passengers in the southbound vehicle were killed. The driver of the northbound vehicle is believed to not be wearing a seatbelt.
