Alaska State Troopers responded to a two vehicle collision at Mile 51 Parks Highway on November 3. A southbound semi-tractor lost control and jack-knifed when slowing to avoid another vehicle which pulled out onto the highway. A northbound pickup truck collided with the semi. The driver was extricated and transported to with serious injuries. A passenger in the pickup was also transported with serious injuries.
