On May 15, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision with entrapment at the intersection of Miltan Road and Jack Warren Road. Reports indicated that an 18 year old male from North Pole was driving a 2002 GMC pickup when he failed to stop at a stop sign on Tanana Loop Extension at Jack Warren Road. The driver crossed the intersection and was struck by a 2000 Honda Acura driven by a 17 year old female of Delta Junction. The GMC was struck with enough force to roll it onto its side. The airbags deployed, and it’s reported that all occupants were wearing seatbelts. The 18 year old male was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Driving Safety Tips
Road signs are a common sight as you drive along any busy road or motorway. Road signs can also seem to be a part of the road and easily ignored. These signs are very important and are used for the purpose of giving out information to people on a number of issues. Hence you should always be aware of them and know how to read them in order to avoid accidents on the road.

- When stating the ages of passengers, include hyphens if the age is being used as an adjective before the noun. I.E. “18 year old male” should be “18-year-old male.” Look at this in the other pieces as well.
- Review this paragraph, consider replacing some statements of “these signs” with the noun “road signs” to remind the reader what you are discussing.
- With the sentence “These signs are very important and are used for the purpose of giving out information to people on a number of issues” explain what some of the issues are.
