On September 3, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles near the DOT weigh station in Fox. Investigation revealed a Subaru was traveling north on the Elliott Highway behind a Toyota Tacoma. As the Toyota slowed in preparation for a left turn the driver of the Subaru failed to successfully take action to avoid the Toyota. A passenger in the Subaru received medical attention from medical personnel at the scene.
