On August 25, Fairbanks Police Department and Fairbanks Fire Department personnel responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Cowles Street and Airport Way.   Traffic was backed up at the busy intersection as police investigated the incident.  It appeared a pickup truck hit the passenger side of a car.
