Two Rollover Crashes on Richardson Highway

|

Alaska State Troopers responded to two rollover crashes near Delta Junction on October 18.  Both occurred after drivers lost control on black ice. No serious injuries were reported in either crash.

Report information taken from Fairbanks Daily Newsminer October 21.

Vehicle Rollover Safety Tips:

Remember the speed limits are meant for dry roads, not roads covered in snow and ice. You should reduce your speed and increase your following distance as road conditions and visibility worsen.

Be cautious on bridges and overpasses as they are commonly the first areas to become icy.
