Safety Tips for Avoiding Car Accidents

Eliminate distraction. This means, among other things, that you should not do anything on your cell phone while you are driving. It is illegal to text and drive in Alaska, but other cell phone activity can be equally as life-threatening. Things can wait until you are done driving, and if they can’t, you can pull over and attend to them once you are safely off the road and stopped. Distraction is one of the biggest threats to a driver’s safety that is easily preventable.

Automobile accidents can have serious and lasting effects on your life and the lives of your family members. Even if you believe you were partially at fault, you may still be able to recover compensation for some of your damages and injuries, including medical expenses and your suffering.
